40 QUESTIONS FOR 2009
01. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
I painted for the first time in my life (why didn't they make me do it in high school? I do not know). Also... cut class for the first time ever. ItwasworthitOTL
02. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I even made resolutions. And if I make one this year it would probably be something silly like "try to use less emoticons".
03. Did anyone close to you give birth? Nnnnope
04. Did anyone close to you die? No
05. What countries did you visit? I stayed right. here. My mom went to Germany though. :(
06. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? Time. This last semester especially, my long commute to school and the long long classes started to wear on me greatly. In January I'm moving into a dorm, so hopefully that means I'll have more time for homework/sleep/friends.
07. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? I am completely time-retarded, so dates do not factor into any of my memory mechanics. But I can remember events!

08. What was your biggest achievement of the year? I got 4 (... was it 4?) works of mine from last semester into the Spring Show at my school. Nothing came of it, but it was cool to know that a freshman anime nerd could actually get something into an important event like that. Also, created a whole new set of characters and a story. XD;
09. What was your biggest failure? Letting many tiny failures accumulate on me and keep me from functioning properly under pressure.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? No, actually. I think I've only gotten one cold in the past two years.
11. What was the best thing you bought? I'm thinking... Corel Painter 11. I just got it recently, and it's growing on me rapidly.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My dad; he started up his own company with some former coworkers and has been working very hard with little/no steady pay to help get this thing started. He's making software to help math teachers teach fractions in elementary school, something most elementary teachers need especially in this crappy state. So far it's going very well. :)
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Maybe not appalled but... a certain friend of mine has been drifting slowly farther and farther away from me. I try not to think about it if I don't have to, but I get very depressed and bitter when I do.
14. Where did most of your money go? I can't exactly spend what I don't earn in the first place. >w>;; At this point, my parents give me pocket cash for school, so I'd say... food. lol.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Assassin's Creed 2's release. I finished it in two days, I was so hooked.
16. What song will always remind you of 2009? Um? Hahah, well, like I said before, dates don't stick in my head like that. But some songs I discovered this year that I'll love for years to come:

17. Compared to this time last year, you are: Probably just as relieved to be on winter break as I was last year. Or maybe, at this time last year I was more surprised that the semester went so fast. This year I am glad it's finally over. =w=
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Talking with my friends.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? procrastinating. D: But my life seems doomed to at least 40% procrastination by volume. So it's sort of a hollow wish to wish all that gone.
20. How will you be spending/did you spend Christmas? Probably just going to go to my grandpa's house, like last year. No tree, but instead I'll stack the presents in pleasing ways to entertain myself.
22. Did you fall in love in 2009? Hur hur no. :(

23. How many one-night stands? Do you... expect me to have these regularly?
24. What was your favorite TV program? Dollhouse. Joss Whedon, valiant hero of intelligent TV and tragic victim of unjust, premature series cancellations.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? I don't hate anyone. :>
26. What was the best book you read? I didn't read much this year. Barely anything besides my English textbook, actually. :(
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Hmmmrr... Well I wouldn't call it "great" but I really got into Vocaloid this year. FINALLY I'm starting to not draw Miku as much, but I still like the music.
28. What did you want and get?

29. What did you want and not get? affirmation of my own validity as an artist. MAYBE NEXT YEAR. :D
30. What was your favorite film of this year? Hmmm. Coraline, probably.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? On the actual day I turned 19, I went to school and then came home and ate Indian food. But the weekend before that I invited my friends over and played lots of Rock Band and ate lots of chocolate.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Personal theme music.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009? "lets pretend I'm not a girl for a little while"
34. What kept you sane? My ipod. I'd be sunk without you, little Elexias. ;__;
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Eheh.. heheh.... I don't normally fancy people. Uh. Heath Ledger? .... 8[
35. What was your favorite video game of the year? Assassin's Creed 2. That's another soundtrack everyone needs to hear.
36. Who has made the most cameos in your dreams this year? Hmm, the only person I know was probably my friend RJ, twice. First he was downloading viruses onto my dad's computer, next he was telling me he wouldn't take me home from the hospital unless I pretended I was a fairy princess. Or something lol.

38. Who was the best new person you met? Hhhmmmrr. RJ.

I've always wanted one of these. So I decided to finally make one. TA DA :3
It's almost christmas, which is pretty bitchin. I'll probably sketch alot while watching my sister over winter break. I have like, tons of time on my hands (more so than usual.)
I realized there's a lot of stuff I never uploaded to my MB gallery, which makes me sad. So much stuff I could've shared back then. It's too late now, it's oldoldoldoldold and not REALLY worth it. Still, poor pieces never got any attention.
So yup. Sketches and rants and shit coming up soon. :> maybe even little comics or something.
